• Technical College (DUT) (Electronics, Maintenance, …) or equivalent.
• Background or experience in Service Management
• Good knowledge in electronics and computers/Network
• 5 Years of expertise in medical environment (ultrasound systems will be a plus)
• Fluent in English and strong communication skills (German speaking will be a plus)
• Mobile: will required frequent travels over the world
Job description
Responsible for delivery of technical support to All Distributors over the world:
- Technical Support focal point for Asian/European subsidiaries and dealer networks
- Installs, upgrades, removes ultrasound equipment hardware, software, and networks.
- Performs first-call remedial repairs of ultrasound equipment.
- Provides on-site support of sales demos, clinical trials, and trade shows.
- Perform partners and distributors audit in Europe.
- General oversight for service/repair processes (both customer-facing and internal)
- Training for service repair technicians (both internal and dealer/partners)
- Evaluates the need for and creates (if necessary) a regional service hub
- Focal point for "tier II" or technical support escalation situations
- Manages regional NPI/upgrade deployment
- Focal point for collecting regional quality data and solving regional quality issues, with close collaboration with Corporate resources and priorities as required
- Monitor and control regionally-based spare part inventories, developing and maintaining regional stock levels in conjunction with Aix headquarters
- Help for translation of technical support documents and adaptation to local laws.
